In 2007, Attorney Linderman was named an "Up & Coming Lawyer" by Michigan Lawyers Weekly. This
award recognizes the rising stars of the Michigan bar, as nominated by their peers, who have
distinguished themselves early on in their careers and who stand poised for even greater
accomplishments in the future. Only 7 lawyers of the nearly 40,000 practitioners in Michigan received
this distinction in 2007.
In 2005, Attorney Julien was named a “Lawyer of the Year” by Michigan Lawyers Weekly. This award
recognizes the utmost of excellence in service to the bar and community and is among the most
prestigious and recognized by the bench and bar in the State of Michigan. Only 10 lawyers of the
nearly 40,000 practitioners in Michigan are selected to receive this award each year.
State Bar of Michigan
In 2005 and 2006, Attorneys Julien and Linderman consecutively received the coveted Regeana Myrick
Outstanding Young Lawyer Award from the State Bar of Michigan. This award is named in honor of
Regeana Myrick, who was an active member of the Young Lawyers Section and also served on its
Executive Council. From the time of her swearing-in to the Bar to her untimely passing, Ms. Myrick
exemplified the commitment to service to the public that the Outstanding Young Lawyer Award
represents. While numerous nominations are submitted, only one lawyer in Michigan is selected to
receive this award in Ms. Myrick's honor each year.
Washtenaw County Bar Association
In 2004, Attorney Julien was awarded the first ever Washtenaw County Bar Association Outstanding
Young Lawyer Award. The award is now given to one lawyer each year that demonstrates strong
leadership and a dedication to the community. Attorney Linderman received this award in 2006 for her
outstanding service to the local bar and community.
